Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
How long will my permanent makeup last?
Longevity varies from person to person and depends on factors such as skin type, aftercare, lifestyle, and sun exposure. On average, results last 18 months to 3 years, and in some cases longer.
How long does the procedure take?
Your appointment typically takes approximately 2 hours from start to finish. This includes intake forms, consultation, photos, brow mapping/pre-draw, the procedure itself, and aftercare instructions.
Is the procedure painful?
Everyone’s pain tolerance is different. However, numbing is used throughout the procedure, and most clients are pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the experience is.
How many sessions are included?
Permanent makeup is a two-step process. One complimentary touch-up session is included and is performed 6–8 weeks after your initial appointment.
How do you choose the brow shape?
Each client is custom-mapped based on their natural brow structure, facial symmetry, and eye shape. No stencils are used—your brows are designed specifically to enhance your unique features.
Is permanent makeup truly permanent?
Permanent makeup is not truly permanent. Over time, the pigment will fade and require maintenance touch-ups. While brows may fade significantly, a small amount of pigment often remains in the skin. Fading varies by individual, and exact timelines cannot be guaranteed.
Can microblading be done over previous tattooed brows?
In most cases, microblading cannot be performed over previous tattooed work. Existing pigment can cause blurring, color distortion, and poor retention.
Microshading or powder brows may be an option in some cases, while others may require removal first.
If you have had prior brow tattooing done elsewhere, a consultation is required before booking. Failure to disclose previous work may result in a forfeited deposit if removal is needed.
Do you work over or touch up another artist’s work?
All new clients are required to pay the initial brow service fee, even if they have had previous work done.
A virtual or in-person consultation is required prior to booking. In some cases, removal may be necessary before proceeding.
Can I bring a friend or family member to my appointment?
Yes, you may bring one guest, provided they are 18 years or older.
Which brow service is best for me?
• Microblading: Best suited for clients with normal to dry skin, smaller pores, and youthful, non-textured skin.
• Combo Brows: Ideal for normal, dry, combination, and mature skin types.
• Ombre / Powder Brows: Suitable for all skin types, including oily skin.
Your artist will help guide you toward the best option during your consultation.
What is your cancellation policy?
Appointments must be rescheduled at least 48 hours in advance.
No-shows or last-minute cancellations will result in a forfeited deposit, and a new booking fee will be required to reschedule.
No exceptions.
